School Feeding Programs

Sponsored by The Mosiac Company, our School and Weekend Lunch program help ensure that vulnerable children in our community receive nutritious lunches throughout the school year.

School Breakfast Program:

The Salvation Army Breakfast Program provides nutritious breakfasts for students at two local schools to ensure they are fed and ready for the school day.

School Lunch Program:

The Salvation Army Lunch Program provides nutritious bagged lunches for students at five local schools to ensure every child doesn’t go hungry.

School Weekend Bag Program:

With the help of staff and teachers at assigned schools, students are identified as needing extra support over the weekend, when not in school. The Salvation Army provides students with a “take home” bag, to provide them with enough food to make it through the weekend.

Food on the Move

Childhood hunger does not end when school is out for the summer. For this reason, our Nutrien sponsored Food on the Move program allows us to distribute lunches to children in our community during the summer months.

Information on our 2024 Food on the Move program will be released shortly. Stay tuned…
